Here are our general recommendations for each size fin.
6.0" center fin with side bytes - mid-length boards 6'6 - 8'6
6.5" center fin with side bytes - longboards 9'0 - 9'6
7.0" center fin with side bytes - longboards 9'6 - 10'0
7.5" or 8.0" center fin with side bytes - longboards over 10'0
This is of course dependent on the surfer -- a smaller person could use a slightly smaller fin and vice versa. Feel free to call the shop to chat about what fin would be best for you and your board.
