FAQ

We’ve extended our usual limit for returns just for the festive season. Any gift bought between 1st October 2025 and 24 December 2025 can be returned up until 23 January 2026, if it’s unwanted or unsuitable.

Please ask for a gift receipt in store so that the recipient can also return the present. Gift receipts aren’t available for online orders.

All other terms and conditions apply. This doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

The cut of time for most courier collections is 11:00 so it may be collected the following day if ordered after 11:00.

We are a small fish in a big pond but we're pretty confident you can’t beat our price. However, if you see a product cheaper somewhere else please contact us and we’ll do our best to match the offer.

We do check our prices against our competitors to give you the lowest price. So if you find the same product cheaper we will match the price providing: -

The product on the competitors site is identical to one we sell
The product must be in stock with the competitor
The product is in stock with us
We are able to verify the competitors price

If you have found a cheaper price and it meets the above conditions, please contact us with the following: -

The product you are interested in purchasing and the price

The offer is not transferable and the price match is only valid for the day we offer it.

Amending your order

We're sorry that in most circumstances it's not possible to make changes to your order once it has already been despatched from the warehouse, then you'll need to return the item following our Returns procedure. Read 'How do I return an item' for details on how to do so.

If your order hasn’t left the warehouse yet, we may be able to change delivery address details, remove items from your order or cancel it completely. Please email email info@eastcoastsurf.co.uk for advice or use our online chat window below.

Cancelling your order

If your order has already been despatched from the warehouse, you'll need to return the item following our Returns procedure in the event of any unwanted products. Read 'How do I return an item' for details on how to do so.

Missing, incomplete or damaged orders

For damaged products, incomplete orders or despatched orders that don't arrive within the expected time period, please email info@eastcoastsurf.co.uk. If you prefer, you can also return damaged goods to us via the returns methods listed below.

Returning an item

If you've changed your mind about keeping your purchase, please return it in its original condition with proof of purchase and we'll exchange or refund it. Unless faulty, this should be within 35 days of receiving your order.

Once returned, we’ll refund the person who originally placed and paid for the order. We’ll process your refund immediately. It can take up to 5 days for the bank to transfer the funds to you. If you paid by credit or debit card, we’ll refund the same card originally used to place and pay for the order.

Refund Policy

If you've changed your mind about keeping your purchase, please return it in its original condition with proof of purchase and we'll exchange or refund it
Unless faulty, this should be within 35 days of purchase
Ordinarily if you have your receipt or delivery note we'll refund the original debit, credit or charge card used to purchase
It's important that any unwanted item, unless faulty, is returned in its original condition. We'd expect this to mean that you've kept all original packaging and labels, and that it's undamaged and unused
For online purchases we’ll refund the standard delivery charge, provided you return the full order. If you're only returning some of the items on your order, then we will only refund the cost of those items

Exchanging an item

In line with our returns policy, you have up to 35 days to exchange a product from the date of purchase or the date you received your order.

Simply return the unwanted item following our returns procedure and place a new order online for the product you'd like.

Small and medium items are usually delivered within 2-3 working days after day of order (7-10 working days for EU orders), Monday to Saturday, 7.30am - 6pm. Some couriers may deliver slightly earlier or later.

Once your item has left our warehouse, we’ll send you an email with tracking information if applicable.

Couriers we use for standard deliveries include Royal Mail, Parcelforce, Proovia & Evri

Small & medium items (Expedited Delivery)

Small and medium items are usually delivered within 1-2 working days after day of order, Monday to Saturday, 7.30am - 6pm. Some couriers may deliver slightly earlier or later.

Once your item has left our warehouse, we’ll send you an email with tracking information if applicable.

Couriers we use for expedited deliveries include Royal Mail and FedEx.

Large items (Standard Delivery)

Large items, including surfboards, board coffins and skateboards will be delivered by one of our approved couriers. We always aim to deliver your order within 7 working days, but it’s subject to postcode and carrier availability. EU orders may take additional time to arrive. All large items are sent at buyers risk.

Your privacy is of the highest importance to us, and we promise never to release your personal details to any outside company for their mailing or marketing purposes.

When you make a purchase from our website, or sign up to our newsletter this is called 'implied consent' for us to collect certain personal information from you (for example: your name, email address, payment address and details). All such information is held on secure servers. Ordering, cancelling and returning products

We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Website. Contract creation and electronic contracting

The technical steps required to create the contract between you and us are as follows:

You place the order for your products on the Website by pressing the confirm order button at the end of the checkout process. You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of simple instructions on the Website

We will send you an order confirmation email detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order acceptance
For items being delivered to you, when your product is shipped from our warehouse we will send you a despatch confirmation email
Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the despatch to you of the Products ordered unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it in accordance with the instructions in Change or cancel an order
For most products sent directly from our warehouse, your credit/debit card will be charged when your order is despatched

Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

The product you ordered being unavailable from stock
Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment
The identification of a pricing or product description error
Your not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out in the main Terms & Conditions

Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013

This legislation offers you the following cancellation rights when you buy online or by phone:

You are entitled to cancel your contract if you so wish, provided that you exercise your right no longer than 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods or services.

Your right to return or cancel products does not apply to goods that are made to measure or are made to your specification, that have been clearly personalised or which by reason of their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly. This doesn't affect your statutory rights if goods are faulty or not as described.

If you wish to exercise your right of cancellation, you are obliged to retain possession of the goods and take reasonable care of them.

To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel your contract by a clear statement, including details of your name, geographical address, details of the order you wish to cancel and, where available, your phone number and email address.

If you decide to cancel, you should return the goods to us at your cost within 14 days of such cancellation and we will reimburse to you (by the method used to pay for the original transaction) the amount in relation to goods to which cancellation rights apply. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement no later than 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied.

Severance

Waiver

No waiver by us shall be construed as a waiver of any proceeding or succeeding breach of any provision.

Survival

Each provision of the Conditions shall be construed as separately applying and surviving even if for any reason one or other of those provisions is held to be inapplicable or unenforceable in any circumstances.

Entire agreement

These Conditions govern our relationship with you. Any changes to these Conditions must be in writing and signed by both parties. In this way, we can avoid any problems surrounding what East Coast Surf Ltd and you are expected to do. You confirm that, in agreeing to accept the Conditions, you have not relied on any representation save insofar as the same has expressly been made a term of these Conditions and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any representation. Your Statutory Rights are not affected by these terms and conditions. Nothing in this Clause shall limit or exclude our liability in respect of any fraudulent or negligent misrepresentation whether or not such has become a term of the Conditions.

Law

The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
